The award-winning project, SaniBin, was developed as a simple, practical, and cost-effective solution for the disposal of used sanitary napkins. The design focuses on the use of incineration as an efficient method to reduce sanitary waste volume and promote better hygiene and waste management practices. This project serves as a significant preliminary step toward improving sanitary waste disposal systems in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. The remarkable achievement reflects the students’ enthusiasm for research and innovation while highlighting the institution’s commitment to nurturing future scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
